Why should I choose Stephanie Alecia Rose Photography for my photography/videography needs?

Stephanie Alecia Rose Photography is a photography/videography service that has the budget conscious consumer in mind while producing high quality content. Stephanie's mission is to create an environment for you to feel confident about yourself and bring out the best in you as well as bring out the best in your product(s) and/or service(s)!

What camera do you use and what is the quality of picture/video?

Stephanie uses a Sony Alpha a6100 Mirrorless Digital camera (24.2 MP) coupled with a 32mm lens with an f-stop of 1.8, an 85mm with an f-stop of 1.8, along with other photography equipment such as UV and ND filters.  In some cases, Stephanie will switch to her iPhone 12 Pro Max* which, with extensive research and self-training, she has learned to get the best quality picture/video. Both the Sony and iPhone have a resolution of 4K when filming.

Do I have to pay upfront?

Yes and no. Some packages require a deposit. For other packages, there are payment options available after you book your date of choice for a photo session/videography. If you do not plan to pay upfront, please contact Stephanie for more options. Photos/videos will not be released without payment! 

Is there a deposit? If so, how much?

Yes there is a deposit on the larger packages (please read each package details because deposits will vary). All deposits are non-refundable. 

What forms of payment do you take?

Preferably, electronic payment, which is available upon booking your photo session. However, if you are wary about putting your information online, cash and checks are also accepted same day once photo session is finished. If you are writing a check, please make it out to: Stephanie Alecia Rose. You will receive an invoice prior to your session and a PIF invoice once services are rendered. 

I see that you have set times for sessions. What if the session runs shorter or longer? Will the price be adjusted?

Yes and no. Stephanie is time conscious. If the shoot runs shorter (i.e. the client is pleased with the photos taken/video filmed so far and does not feel the need to take/film anymore), the price still stands (i.e. a client purchases Headshots Package I for one hour but the session only lasted 45 minutes). If it runs longer, Stephanie will only allow a 15 minute grace period. If no appointment follows the client's session who needs more than 15 minutes, there will be an additional fee of $15 for 30 minutes more. Otherwise, due to other appointments scheduled, prices cannot be adjusted due to time changes. Come prepared!

I am a little shy. How will the photographer/videographer help me feel at ease during the session?

Stephanie has worked with several clients who want the best photos/videos possible but are camera shy. Due to her teaching and directing background, Stephanie is able to coach you through the entire session to bring out the best you. From posing to getting you into the right mindset, Stephanie makes sure to make the session about you and helping you to have peace of mind. Plus, she'll be your cheerleader, giving you all the confidence you need!

Do you provide hair and makeup services?

Yes! There is now a new package that includes makeup services! Other packages do not include a makeup service so please come hair and makeup ready. If you would like to bring someone with you to help you in between shots, that is highly recommended.  

Will there be a place for me to change?

No and yes. For now, since Stephanie shoots on location (meaning the park, museum, downtown, etc), it is highly recommended that the client wears an undershirt to switch between tops. The client does not need to change an entire outfit for headshots. If it is a photo shoot session, it will be at a location of the client's choosing. The client will need to prepare for those accommodations. With these types of sessions, it is also highly recommended to bring someone to assist with changes.  Once Stephanie Alecia Rose Photography expands to a studio setting, there will be space to change. 
 
How long will it take to receive my photos/videos?

Stephanie Alecia Rose Photography's turnaround rate is pretty quick. You can expect to receive photos/videos within 72 hours for shorter sessions. For longer sessions, expect to receive photos/videos within 1-2 weeks. Photos/videos will be delivered to the client electronically via a file sharing service. A link will be sent via email that the client will have unlimited access to for downloading photos/videos. 
 
Can I choose which photos/videos to be edited?

Absolutely! Photos/videos can be sent to you same day so that you are able to pick what you want edited. Remember, depending on the package you purchased, you are only allowed up to that numbered amount of photos edited. Otherwise, if you do not want to choose, the best photos/videos will be chosen for you and edited. 

Do you have a referral program?

At this time, no. However, one will be put in place in the future. The program will give the referrer a discount on their next booked session. The client that was referred notifies Stephanie and they will also receive a discount on their next booked session.

*The iPhone 12 Pro Max is upgraded equipment from the iPhone 11 previously used for stock photography/video. **Stephanie uses the FiLMiC Pro app to create high quality media with the iPhone 12 Pro Max as well as using the Moment 58mm and Anamorphic lens.
